Action research is inquiry or research in the context of
focused efforts to improve the quality of an organization and its
performance. It typically is designed and conducted by practitioners who
analyze the data to improve their own practice. Action research can be done by individuals or by teams of colleagues.
Quickly write about a time in your life when you have "learned from your mistakes." Think of a time when you have invented, created, or done something that helped you, was a success, perhaps even made you proud of yourself.
Now think of action research in terms of teaching and what that means to the profession.
